Since I was a little girl I liked expressing myself in an artistic way, it all started with some mural drawings joyfully done inside my parents apartment, after which I was sent to study painting the next nine years.
During highschool I took canto lessons at “Scoala Populara de Arte”, where I studied with Ionel Tudor and Ozana Barabancea; also I joined the highschool’s theater group and I was rewarded with the “George Constantin” award. This event made me aware of what I wanted to pursue as a career, so I became an actress.
While being a student at “The National University of Theater and Film”, I continued to study music and canto with the well known Constantin Gabor, the great bass of “The National Opera”, Olga Csorvasi, alto at “The Romanian Atheneum Philarmonica”, Gabriel Gheorghiu, baritone at “The National Opera of Cluj” and the famous Marius Teicu.
After finishing the university I joined a rock band called “Camera 101″ (“Room 101″), which were actually looking for a male singer, and in 2013 we played the opening act at “Padina Fest” music festival, Posada Rock Fest, Motor Fest, Poiana Urbana among many others. The band broke up, but life still goes on and shortly I joined another band, this time a quieter one.
“Cats on the roof” started with a very compact formula, a trio: I the singer, Vlad the piano player and Filip the guitarist. After some gigs we decided to extend the group and now there are five cats in the gang.
Meanwhile I took classes at ”Dana Dorian Artist Company”, which besides being a great teacher became also a very dear friend of mine.
We look forward to what the future will bring and hope to charm and entertain you with every gig we play.
